Small Group Beginner Ukulele classes that help support self awareness, confidence, and coping strategies. Led by a Credentialed Music Therapist (MTA) this group will build community amoung participants aged 7-12, and provide core foundations in beginner ukulele. Music theory, ukulele skills, learning familiar songs and song writing activities will provide opportunities to create community, share stories, and learn new ways to support healthy social-emotional functioning. The session will commence with a small performance (most likely with a ZOOM audience) to showcase our new musical skills and demonstrate our positive learning!

Students will need to have their own ukulele, and bring each week. Group size between 3 – 6 students.Participants will be asked to wear masks.Entrance to the clinic each week will require the passing of a COVID screening questionnaire. Classes will be held at the WMTS Clinic at 55 Dehli St. Guelph, ON.
